    PEDESTRIAN (Warehouse) TRUCKS
Many users do not realise that these lift trucks also fall into the legislative framework. Consequently this type of lift truck is sometimes overlooked when it comes to training in the work place. It does not look dangerous or powerful but in fact it is a major course of accidents. If a motorised type is in operation at your premises then training and certification is required.

Most motorised versions have a capability of around 1 tonne and will lift loads clear of the floor, and transport them around the site, or load vehicles. Some have a capacity of 2 tonne and are capable of lifting loads to a height of 3 or 4 meters.
