Chainsaw Training

This course is designed to provide an understanding of the HASAWA regulations, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and the HSG48 instructing delegates in all aspects of the correct and safe use of chainsaws in basic and crosscut operations.

This course is not suitable for felling large trees.

Information

Access to a room/area for knowledge and admin sessions will be required
Access to a practical area with timber for cutting will be required
A chainsaw (In full working order), chainsaw tools, fuel and chain oil will be required (can be supplied at extra cost) 

Notes

Delegates will require the Chainsaw PPE, this includes the specific Headgear (Hard hat incorporating ear defenders and safety mesh visor) Chainsaw Leggings, Chainsaw Boots (Or Ankle Protectors & Safety boots) chainsaw mits or gloves.
