Course Description:

The use of safety harnesses has increased across many working environments. This course will provide any person who is involved with working with a harness, and especially at height, with the knowledge and ability to correctly select don and remove the appropriate safety harness for differing environments.

Typical Course Contents

In Company courses will be tailored to the working environment A Training room suitable for the number of delegates will be required.

• Accidents - causes and prevention. • Acts and Regulations as applicable. • PPE, Safe Systems Of Work • Risk assess for correct harness selection • User checks • Safe wearing of a harness • Securing the harness (Body and Equipment) • Safe Storage of harness • Practical applications of the course content. • Correct techniques relative to working environment. Safety & Application Knowledge Examination Practical Skills Examination
